About The Monroe Street Market

Founded in 2014, the FRESHFARM Monroe Street Market is a neighborhood destination for many living in DC’s Ward 5. Located adjacent to the Brookland/CUA metro stop, the market hosts local farmers and specialty food producers, plus special events like yoga practices and live music. The market shares the Arts Walk with a community of 27 local artist and artisan studios.

Our farmers markets transform the local food system. Learn more.
