Fresh Food for Arlington Families
The Arlington County Council of PTAs (CCPTA) believes that providing fresh, healthy produce advances their mission to support children and families within the Arlington Public School system.
Support Arlington families with fresh food! As part of their pandemic relief efforts, the CCPTA is working to get healthy food to Arlington families in need. While families have been grateful for the various types of food assistance that are available in the neighborhood, many have requested assistance with obtaining fresh food beyond the non-perishable pantry food products and single serve meals. Through FRESHFARM’s Pop Up Food Hub, we will coordinate with the CCPTA to distribute fresh, local food to Arlington students and their families.
The Arlington County Council of PTAs (CCPTA) is an advocate for the education and well-being of every child attending Arlington Public Schools (APS). Their volunteer membership includes representatives from each APS Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and some APS advisory groups.
A $22 donation covers a week’s worth of produce for a family of four. This campaign will run until December 4th!
