CropEats is an innovative certified MDOT MBE Black Woman-Owned cottage business. The owner is a naturalized US citizen and graduate of Howard University School of Engineering. She has a BSC in Chemical Engineering, and a MEng in Civil/Environmental Engineering. She is an experienced water/wastewater treatment technology product engineer, she has worked on several wastewater treatment plants upgrades as a project engineer, and then finally as an engineering project manager before becoming a foodpreneur. She always dreamt of opening a vegan establishment of some kind as a practising vegan of over several decades. She took a leap of faith, in 2019 the business was established, and started doing business as CropEats in 2021. CropEats is the producer of Croplets(TM), a vegan gluten-free muffin-styled dessert, that was realized by accident. True story.
