FRESHFARM Employment Positions

Pop Up Food Hub (PUFH) Logistics & Operations Senior Manager

FRESHFARM is seeking an experienced, adaptive team leader with strong project management skills to oversee and execute the operations of our Pop Up Food Hub team! The PUFH team brings produce from local farmers to community organizations serving neighbors in under-resourced communities. This program creates economic opportunities for local growers, improves food access for those in need and strengthens our regional food system. In this role, the PUFH Logistics & Operations Senior Manager will manage the team’s work – responsible for the day-to-day operation of the PUFH program and ensuring that the PUFH’s customer engagement, local food procurement and on-site operations run smoothly.

Food Access Translators – Farsi and/or Vietnamese

FRESHFARM is seeking translators to support our food access work, including our Fresh Match and Produce Plus programs as well as Virginia’s Senior FMNP. We are looking for contractors or volunteers excited about translating FRESHFARM’s written food access communications and/or providing responsive translation and/or interpretation for food access program participants via email and/or phone to ensure that customers receive effective support from FRESHFARM and other local food access providers.

FoodPrints Classroom Assistants (Spring Semester 2025)

Intern and federal work-study applications closed on Nov 22, 2024; volunteer applications accepted on a rolling basis.

Interested in growing your food education skills? FoodPrints is looking for interns, volunteers, and/or Federal Work Study students to join our program as Classroom Assistants! FoodPrints Classroom Assistants work directly with FoodPrints Lead Teachers to facilitate preschool – 5th grade classes that provide hands-on experiences for local students to grow, harvest, cook, and eat nutritious, fresh, local, and seasonal food. We are currently seeking Classroom Assistants to support the work of the FoodPrints program at one or more partner schools in Washington, DC during the Spring 2025 semester. Learn more about this opportunity and apply today!

CHINESE STREET MARKET DC – Logistics Staff

CHINESE STREET MARKET DC seeks a logistics team member(s) for drop-offs or pick-ups, inventory reports, and packing &organizing inventories at weekend-only Farmers Markets in Washington, DC year-round; occasional special events inventory, drop-offs and pick-ups in DMV; occasional online order drop-offs in DC. This part-time job is about 15 hours a week. Most duties happen during the weekends. Special events and online order delivery hours are not included in those 15 hours. Pay is hourly at $23/hour.
