FoodPrints Classroom Assistants (Spring Semester 2025)

Interested in growing your food education skills? FoodPrints is looking for interns, volunteers, and/or Federal Work Study students to join our program as Classroom Assistants! FoodPrints Classroom Assistants work directly with FoodPrints Lead Teachers to facilitate preschool – 5th grade classes that provide hands-on experiences for local students to grow, harvest, cook, and eat nutritious, fresh, local, and seasonal food. We are currently seeking Classroom Assistants to support the work of the FoodPrints program at one or more partner schools in Washington, DC during the Spring 2025 semester. Farmers Market Employment Positions

Our farmers and producers frequently share job openings with us. The following market farmers and producers currently have positions available. Please note, these are NOT FRESHFARM positions; you would be hired directly by the vendor. Please direct all questions regarding these positions to the vendors themselves.

Pasta Ilgatto – Farmers Market Sales Representative

PASTA ILGATTO is seeking an enthusiastic Farmers Market Vendor Sales Representative. Compensation includes salary, incentives, and tips. Responsibilities include setting up the tents, tables, and the appropriate decorations for our products. Interact with customers, describe and provide our products, receive payments, and make comments, pre-orders, and concerns. Once the market is over, take down the tent and wait for us to come pick it up. We offer extra for those willing to pick up and/or drop back at our location as an additional incentive. One of the most important things is providing a great smile and excellent customer service. Sales experience is optional; we can train anyone with a great attitude and availability. You’ll be able to choose as many markets as you can attend.

Market Locations: Reston, Burke, Arlington, DC

Market days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
