To celebrate the Pop-Up Food Hub's record-breaking year, we are thrilled to introduce our first-ever Local Food Champion Awards!

2024 was a landmark year for FRESHFARM’s Pop-Up Food Hub (PUFH).

Demand for the PUFH, FRESHFARM’s nonprofit food hub and food distributor, doubled from 2023 to 2024. With more than $1.1 million in local produce and grain sales in 2024, the PUFH supported 43 small and medium-sized local farmers, of whom 26% are Black and Brown. The PUFH delivered this food to more than 90 partners committed to providing locally grown produce to their clients.

The doubling of this revenue to $1.1 million in 2024 represents increasing demand from partners who believe local food is good for their clients and customers, the economy, and the earth. This record-breaking growth would not be possible without our network of farmers, nonprofit partners, and restaurants, who prioritize buying local produce and keeping our local food system strong and resilient.

Congratulations to all the Local Food Champion Award Winners! Thank you for supporting local farmers, strengthening the regional food system, and connecting communities with fresh, seasonal produce.
