Produce Plus Market Champions Are Community Champions
Ms. Juanita has lived in Southeast DC for decades. After retiring and volunteering with local food access organizations, she eventually crossed paths with FRESHFARM, where she was hired as one of seven Market Champions for DC Health’s Produce Plus program. She is committed to advocating for food access programs in Washington, DC and providing a dignified service to the community.
