Pollination and Plant Reproduction
Overview
The purpose of this lesson is for students to learn how the structures of flowers, fruits, and seeds contribute to pollination and plant reproduction. Students will dissect flowers and fruits to closely observe each of their reproductive parts. They will also search in the garden for plants at different stages of the life cycle. This lesson supports the DCPS 4th Grade Science Unit Organism Structures and Behavior.
